Love: Bullet

His name is Bullet. He is a mini australian shepherd. He is basically the best dog in the world. My senior year at TCU, I decided to rescue him from Oklahoma.

Through the past three years, he has grown up and matured. Some people say he is chubby but I think he just has a really strong build :)

This guy has been on so many adventures: growing up as a TCU Frog, training lessons @ Petsmart, traveling to Houston, traveling to Uptown.... He is definitely the perfect example of love & loyalty.

Joy: the crayfish

Crayfish, crawfish, crawdad... whatever word you chose, if you live in the south you know this little guy. It's kind of strange that these little creatures bring people together every year for the pure joy of boiling them.

My sister and brother-in-law have started an annual crawfish boil that proves to be a good time each year.

Hope: A new blog

I have always thought people that write blogs are weird. I mean... who posts their thoughts, hopes and life on the internet? Weirdos. Then I became a little more open to the idea when my friend Stephanie Merrill started her own. Of course her blog would be good, though. Steph is a writer at heart.

Then I discovered something new that I'm passionate about. Photography. Photography has been in my family for years but I have just discovered this. I now have three cameras: my grandfather's Olympus, my dad's Canon and my own Nikon.

Photography has ended up doing a little bit of everything for me. It allows me to capture some of the best moments and ones that I want to remember for a lifetime. While I'm just an amateur right now, I started this blog to share my journey of learning about photography. Maybe it will entertain you. Maybe you can learn something. Or maybe it will just remind you of something that you're passionate about. I hope it can offer you a little bit of hope, joy and love.
